Wow - I was looking at dates, it has been a year since I was at my blog.  My bad!

An adventurous, and a year that has gone by all too quickly.

Currently, as one would expect,  I'm involved with Lent in the parish.  Tomorrow night is our first Parish Reconciliation Service.  I don't know how many we will have, but it will be 8:00p.m. here at GVSU's Cook-Dewitt Center.

What I have been doing throughout Lent is trying to preach about "spiritual sustainablity."  What I hope to do with my blog soon is start working on homilies online - see what interaction can do to set God's word free.

A long time ago, in a Galaxy called Westwood

Hi All!

Way back in summer of 2007 I had the difficult task of uprooting myself from a people and place I had grown to love, in Westwood, CA. (That's part of LA's West side for those of you who have not been there.) The community - Saint Paul the Apostle, who are ministered to by my brothers in the Paulist Fathers.

That's when I thought I'd start my blog. I won't bore you with the details of my attempts at a blog. Suffice it to say, I tried mouthfuls of programing that were too big for me to chew - while chewing my first pastorate and bringing to life a brand new parish.

Thanks to everyone at Saint Paul the Apostle who have supported me, and make this blog possible!
